At the age of 13, Sarah crammed a cheap drum kit into her small bedroom, hooked up an electric guitar and a bass guitar to old amplifiers and began recording music onto a two-deck tape recorder. Her passion for music and sound grew deeper in 2006, when she spent one month sound designing her first film (Labyrinth). She began practicing sound for film and took several workshops until she received an MFA in Directing and Sound in 2011. Since then, Sarah has worked on several award winning films and trained with the renowned sound engineer Jean Umansky. Sarah is currently one of very few female Sound Recordists in the Middle East.
